The hotel lies in between the rolling mountain ranges of the Upper Lusatian Highlands in the beautiful town of Schirgiswalde. Besides the numerous hiking and cycle tracks and the typical local architecture you can visit many sights and cultural attractions, such as the 1000-year old city of Bautzen, Löbau, Zittau and Görlitz. We also recommend to visit the Zittau Mountain Range and the Czech Republic which is also close by. There are lots of activities available for kids. We recommend a visit to the "Dinosaur Park" in Kleinwelka (there is also a miniature park and a maze), the summertime toboggan run in Oberoderwitz, the adventure playgrounds in Einsiedel and Kaltwasser or one of the swimming pools. In the wintertime you can find lots of cross-country ski tracks, toboggan runs and pistes with ski lifts.
